Crew Past and Present           

Travis Larson - Owner and Operator of Alaska Premier Sportfishing, and Alaska Blacktail and Bear Adventures.  Together with my son Robby Larson we pride ourselves on the personal, professional service we offer.  Now entering our second decade of operating as Homers premier long range fishing and hunting service we are excited to have you aboard.

Robby Larson - Son of the owner, and already a worthy crewmember aboard the Venturess at the salty age of eight.  With two deer, two black bears, a fox, as well as to many fish to mention, Robby is at eight years old, as experienced as some of my competitors.


 

Pete Hopley - Crewmember and second captain aboard the Venturess for two seasons, Pete is currently deployed in Iraq as a member of the National Guard. 

 

Justin Adams - Two year veteran and local hometown hero, is now playing college hockey at Franklin Pierce University.  His return to the salty sea is uncertain due to his commitment to playing hockey.  Go Ravens!

 

Kayla Creamer - First year second captain in 08, Kayla is the only crew member ever to beat the captain in a filleting competion.  She has therefore been terminated! 

 

 

Josh Pitta - Josh is a two year deckhand aboard the Venturess as well.  Josh is currently playing junior hockey in Spokane Washington.

 

Richard Lucason AKA Luke, Second Captain for bear and deer seasons the past eight years. If you have hunted aboard the Venturess you probably know Luke. Luke is a retired fireman from Fairbanks, and now spends his time fishing, hunting or soaking up the sun in Hawaii.

 

Erik Knutsen - Erik was second captain aboard the Venturess for the 2005 season. His love of the ocean led him to Yakutat where he is now captain of his own vessel.
